How can I care for my sheepskin product?

Sheepskins can last you a lifetime if cared for properly. They are naturally antibacterial and dirt resistant which makes them very easy to care for. We recommend that you regularly shake and air your sheepskin to retain the full and fluffy character of the wool. Your sheepskins can be spot cleaned as required.
Please note that as this is a natural product, some discolouration can occur
during the washing process. The same applies if the product is left in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Find out more about how to care for your sheepskin here.

Can my sheepskin be machine washed?

Most of our sheepskin products can be machine washed however, we only recommend this option if your sheepskin is heavily soiled. If you choose to machine wash your sheepskin, ensure you use a lambskin approved detergent (we recommend Woolskin by Tantech) and wash at no more than 30 degrees Celsius on a gentle cycle. out of direct sunlight in an airy place. Please do not dry your product on a radiator or heater. Lightly brush and stretch your sheepskin after drying. Please note that as this is a natural product, some discolouration can occur during the washing process.

Do not wash or dry clean your Mongolian Sheepskins as this will damage the natural crimp of the wool fibre.

Why is my sheepskin shedding?

As sheepskin is a natural product, some shedding may occur, particularly around the pre-cut harness slits in our pram liners and footmuffs. We recommend shaking and lightly brushing your sheepskin before use to get rid of any loose fibres.

Why does my new sheepskin smell?

When you unpack your new sheepskin, you may notice a distinctive lanolin fragrance which is due to the natural oils in the sheepskin. This odour can be intensified after being confined for extended periods in packaging. Airing the product after unpacking it should reduce any residual odours.

Are your baby sheepskins suitable from birth?

Yes! Sheepskins offer a myriad of benefits that make them the ideal product for your baby. Our Naturally Sheepskins products are all Oeku-Tex certified and EU REACH compliant to ensure they a free from nasty chemicals & dyes and safe for your little one. And our short wool pram liners and baby rugs have intentionally been shorn to a shorter length to make them suitable for use from newborn stage onwards. We recommend only using our
midi-wool sheepskins from ca. 6 months onwards.

Please Note: your baby should not be left unattended.

Will your Sheepskin pram liner/footmuff fit in my pram?

Our entire Naturally Sheepskins baby range has been specially designed to be compatible with most prams, strollers, pushchairs and joggers. They will also grow with your child ensuring years of use and enjoyment. Please contact us with any specific enquires.

Are your sheepskins ethically sourced?

All of the sheepskins we use for our Naturally Sheepskins products are bi-products of the meat industry. We do not support sheep being raised for their skin alone. We source the majority of our sheepskins from Australia and New Zealand, both to support our local industry, but also because these countries have very high ethical standards and regulations that apply to the husbandry of animals. Ordering

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a gift-wrapping service but most of our products are packed in a re-useable “gift-ready” bag. If you would like more information on how your order will be packed, please contact us.

How can I cancel my order?

We strive to process and ship your order within 2 working days. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately and include your order number provided in your confirmation email. If your order has already been shipped, the cancellation will be classified as a return and you will be eligible to pay for the return postage and any other associated costs.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal and AfterPay. Please note that fees may apply.

Can I pay using AfterPay?

Yes, you can pay for your Naturally Sheepskins purchase using AfterPay. Simply select AfterPay as your payment method at checkout.

Can I place a bulk order?

We are more than happy to assist you with large orders, and we do offer wholesale/trade pricing. Please contact us directly for more information.

Shipping & Tracking

Can I pick up my order instead of receiving a delivery?

Unfortunately, we do not offer local pickup.

How can I track my order?

Once your purchase has been dispatched you will be emailed a tracking number so that you can track your order.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free standard shipping on all orders delivered within Australia (excluding wholesale orders). Express shipping fees vary depending on the product. These will be automatically calculated at checkout.

When will I receive my order?

We strive to process and pack your order within 2 working days. Once your purchase has been dispatched you will be emailed a tracking number so that you can track your order.

Delivery timeframes are estimated between 4-8 workings days for standard shipping to Metropolitan areas. Regional areas may be longer. If you require faster delivery, please select Express Post during checkout. Naturally Sheepskins cannot be held responsible for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.

What if I am not home when my order arrives?

The courier company will either leave the parcel at your address or they will leave instructions explaining when and where you can collect your order (either from
the post office or courier company depot).

My order has not arrived. What should I do?

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally from Australia however, we have got retailers throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia. If you are based outside of Australia, please contact us for your nearest retailer.

Exchanges & Returns

What is your returns policy?

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
If for any reason you are not happy with you purchase, please email us and we will happily provide a full refund less postage.

What if my product is damaged/faulty?

All of our products are carefully checked prior to sending them, but in the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately within 14 days of purchase and we will happily provide you with a full refund or exchange.
